ANALISIS PERMINTAAN EKSPOR KARET ALAM INDONESIA KE AMERIKA SERIKAT
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel yang diestimasi dengan permintaan ekspor karet alam Indonesia ke Amerika Serikat dan untuk menganalisis tren pada pasar tersebut. Indonesia merupakan pengekspor terbesar kedua karet alam setelah Thailand dan Amerika Serikat merupakan pengimpor utama karet alam Indonesia. Berdasarkan alasan tersebut perlu adanya analisis untuk mengetahui hubungan setiap variabel terhadap permintaan ekspor. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder tahunan yang dimulai tahun 1990-2011, data tersebut diperoleh dari United Nation Comtrade (UN comtrade), International Rubber Study Group (IRSG), dan Bank Dunia. Metode regresi berganda menunjukkan bahwa variabel yang mempengaruhi permintaan ekspor karet alam Indonesia ke Amerika Serikat yaitu kuantitas karet alam, harga karet alam, harga karet alam tahun lalu, harga karet sintetik dan nilai tukar.
